BO Account stands for Beneficiary
Owners Account. If you want to start investing and stock trading in the stock
market in Bangladesh then you need to open a Beneficiary Owners account, just
like a Bank Account is used to hold your money & your shares.
Types of BO Account: -
In general, there are two types of Beneficiary Owners Account (BO).
01. One is Single/Joint BO Account and
02. Another is NRB BO Account (Non-Residential Bangladeshi).
As you are a general investor you need to open a Single or Joint BO account.
Documents need to open BO Account in Bangladesh?
Ø A complete set of Account opening form.
Ø Copy of Memorandum and Articles of Associations.
Ø Copy of trade license (if any)
Ø Board regulations.
Ø Two copy of passport size photograph of authorized person(s)
Ø Bank Statement/Photocopy of Cheque

Beneficiary Owner Account (BO Account) can be opened in any Depository Participants (DPs) who are located in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Barisal, Khulna and Bogra. Some DPs have branch offices in other cities where they provide DP services. You may use the search option to locate a Depository Participant near your area. |
